IoT exists to connect and exchange data for one device to another, or across systems over the Internet. Specific use cases for IoT include appliances, security systems, agriculture equipment, healthcare equipment, hospitality and more.
Our restaurant’s walk-in refrigerator malfunctioned, but thankfully we didn’t lose any inventory because our IoT system promptly notified us of the temperature change.
